"Italo"

signage | plastic | Florence
I love the rounded letters of this logo lettermark. It goes so nicely with their rabbit icon, which means speed. The rounded letters add to the idea of speed.

"ZaZa"

packaging | paper | Florence
I like this bamboo font and am glad that they didn’t use it for body copy. I also like the serif font that they chose to accompany the title font. The bamboo font makes it seem more natural and the serif font is nice because it adds a formal aspect to the label.

"Bright Lights"

packaging | paper | Florence
This type is more about conveying an emotion than anything, it looks like something I would’ve done as a kid. I can see someone dragging their finger along a cold window and seeing the condensation drip to make this, which makes me feel nostalgic. The color of the text makes it seem a little creepy though, it almost seems like blood dripping. Yikes.

"Piede Libero"

signage | plastic | Florence
I loooove this lettering, it’s so playful and looks hand done. I love the variation between the thicknesses of the letters and how thick the top stroke of the l and b are. I really like this.

"Mossa"

signage | plastic | Florence
The thing that bothers me about this sign is probably the flourishes on the letters. I don’t like how nubby they are and how the A connects at the bottom. The M curves in on the right and I think it’s unnecessary. The S’s and O are okay, but the M and A need to be sleeker for me to approve more.

"Asahi"

serving plate | metal | Via Ippolito Nievo
I love the slant of these letters and how each letter does the same slant. I typically don’t like the outlining of letters but I enjoy the super thin line next to the chunky lettering of Asahi. I appreciate the variation of thicknesses in the main letters. It adds great visual contrast within the word.
